Using his 20 years of experience in the employer sector, Chris created McSwain Group, LLC to utilize award winning experiences gained while leading transformation and change successfully across HR, Health / Well-being, Productivity and Benefit functions. Known for creating innovative, groundbreaking, and industry leading solutions for highly complex business, employee and cultural challenges at employers such as Walmart, Whirlpool, General Dynamics, Syngenta, and SCANA, Chris has successfully delivered measurable results including financial savings, breakthrough levels of employee engagement and positive impact to operational business performance. McSwain Group invests and supports early/emerging companies with disruptive technologies believing revenues will follow. Additionally, we offer services through software-as-a-service platforms specializing in analytics, online marketing, and IT security. Making money by doing good - it is more than a motto, it is our mission.

After 10 years of Board service at IBI including three as Chairman which produced a rapid increase in membership growth, and most recently, one as President at IBI, Chris successfully completed Board approved improvements, transformation and innovations which now allows Chris to spend 100% of his time at McSwain Group, LLC. During his tenure as President, IBI developed and implemented new strategic messaging, a modern website, as well as the innovations of showcasing emerging technolgy companies, IBInext, and IBILabs at the 2018 annual Forum in San Francisco.

Before joining IBI as President, Chris led human resource transformation at Walmart, Whirlpool, General Dynamics, Novartis, Syngenta and SCANA. At each, Chris solved complex health, wellbeing, productivity, and human capital challenges to increase business performance, manage costs and produce breakthrough levels of employee engagement. After leaving Walmart, Chris served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Aasonn, in addition to growing his consulting practice and pursuing entrepreneurial interests with early stage start-ups.

He has served as a board member for Dossia, the Center for Health Value Innovation, a Global Knowledge Exchange Network Delegate, and World at Work Benefits Advisory Council among others. He served as a member of the IBI Board of Directors beginning in 2005 and as IBI Board Chair from 2006 to 2010. In 2013, as a global leader he co-founded WorldWideWellbeing.org.
