Donna Popovich serves The University of Tampa as Executive Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and administration of comprehensive human resource policies and programs for the University. Donna also facilitates the operation of three auxiliary groups supporting The University of Tampa. Donna is currently Board chair of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida Benefits Association. She serves on the boards of Society of Higher Education Human Resource Executives, Henry B. Plant Museum, and Friends of Plant Park. She is a member of Leadership Tampa and Leadership Tampa Bay.

What do you feel are the two most important benefits or areas that need to be a top priority in 2021?

More focus on wellness, physically and mentally. Also, retirement readiness.

Our own Independent Colleges and Universities Benefits Association is a member-driven organization that looks to high-value, cost-effective benefits. We have a few recent initiatives designed to improve the well-being of our employees, helping them get the most value for their money.

Pharmacy in general and specialty drugs in particular.
