She maintains a clinical faculty appointment at the UCLA School of Medicine, with a clinical practice in Los Angeles. Additionally, her practice includes patients from a broader scope, both nationally and internationally, who seek Dr. Van Herle’s expertise in medical problem solving.

Dr. Van Herle is a member of the American Thyroid Association, The American Medical Association, The American Diabetes Association, and has won an Award of Excellence and Humanitarianism in Internal Medicine from the Clinical Faculty Association of the UCLA Department of Medicine.
