What is the biggest thing you learned in 2020?

What do you feel are the two most important benefits or areas that need to be a top priority in 2021?

Can you share a story on an area of your healthcare program or employee benefits where you were able to create significant savings or stop costs from rising?

If you could automatically receive a 10-20% reduction in costs in three areas/programs, what would your dream list be?

What is the most innovative program you will focus on in 2021 and/or 2022?

How are you re-imagining corporate culture & well-being?

What virtual care solutions did you roll out during the pandemic? How valuable were they and why?

If you look at our 3 Moonshots - Costs, Culture, and Care; In one sentence, tell us what would be something positive for us to take from 2020 and bring into this new year?

What are your top priorities for employee health and well-being in 2022?

We’re reimagining the wellbeing experience, solving for greater inclusivity and connecting members to each other throughout their wellbeing and health journeys. We’re also driving a focused health agenda, leveraging engagement, data and analytics to meaningfully reduce the cost of quality healthcare

What are the most innovative programs that you will focus on in 2022 and 2023?

We’re pairing social capabilities with the power of our inclusive ecosystem and Marketplace to cater for the diverse and changing needs of multi-generational members across the spectrum of health risk profiles and needs. We’re also strengthening the targeting and personalization embedded in our condition management journeys.

Looking at our three moonshots surrounding costs, culture, and care, which do you align with the most? What are you doing in this area?

We’re deeply invested in lowering the cost of healthcare, leveraging our strengths in engagement, data and analytics to help bend mortality curves through targeted interventions. We’re also deeply committed to creating a culture of health that engages, retains and attracts talent. Here we’re focused on strengthening inclusivity and connectedness (on a human and ecosystem level!) to reach all members, regardless of demographics and health status.

If you could automatically receive a 25% reduction in costs in three areas/programs, what would your dream list be?

Removing the barriers for at-risk individuals (and individuals with multiple co-morbidities) to get healthier. Mental health. Cancer treatment.

Is there an area where you were able to either create savings or stop costs from rising?

Yes! We’ve achieved 19% lower claims for engaged Vitality members, an 8% reduction in at-risk members, a 30% reduction in hospital admissions for engaged members, and a 40-55% reduction in disease burden (heart disease, lung disease, diabetes) through participation in the Vitality program over a 3-year timeframe.

Are you doing anything to reimagine corporate culture and wellbeing?

We’re designing inclusive programs that promote a come-as-you-are, non-judgmental safe space for a psychologically healthy workplace.

If there were two physical solutions that could be turned into virtual or remote care instead, what would those be?

Preventative screenings coupled with virtual/remote care journeys. Hospital-at-home.
