Coronavirus Pandemic has Changed How Americans Work

  • As the coronavirus pandemic triggered tough restrictions across the world, business owners have had to readapt work models to fit the unprecedented times; hence, many workers are now working from home, a design many had not experienced before the pandemic.
  • More than 71 percent of workers are now working from home, according to a survey by Pew Research Center, and more than half of these remote workers say they'll love to continue working from home after the pandemic
  • Among those who work from home, about 75 percent say it has been easy to have the right technology and equipment for a successful remote work. Most of them also say it's been easy for them to meet deadlines and complete job tasks on time, and feel motivated to do their work. These data signal that remote work may be the new model of work in the post-pandemic era.
